Learn to Knit: Knitting Basics SEPT

Learn to knit for complete beginners!

Over 3 weeks we will learn a selection of basic knit stitches including knit and purl, garter stitch, stocking stitch and basic ribbing (time and pace permitting). Learn how to start and finish off and what do if and when you make a mistake. We will also cover some basic information about materials/tools and reading patterns. We will make swatches that we can label and refer back to and then start off making a washcloth which can be completed at home using your new skills.

All materials and tools included as well as refreshments (please note unfortunately there will be no barista drinks available, but unlimited regular tea & coffee!) This course will be taught using UK crochet terminology. Right and left handed welcome!
