Hello and welcome to Makestock!
Home of craft classes and workshops taught in Kent. 

I'm Emily, nice to meet you! Makestock was created in 2024, born from a desire to share my love of crafting with the people of Kent and beyond. I have been a keen crafter from a very young age and have a wide range of crafting skills and knowledge. 

I studied Art Foundation and Fashion at UCA Rochester and went on to work in garment technology at Boden and JoJo Maman Bebe. My love of fashion, yarns and all things crafts has continued into motherhood. I have two young children who I love to bake and create with at home. 

At aged 16, I worked part time in a pottery painting cafe and wool shop which is where the spark for yarn related crafting really began, and where I first opened my eyes to the possibility of a creative career.

I have taught many people various crafting skills over the years, and hope to continue to teach many more, to share crafting joy with as many people as possible!
